PipeWire is an open source project that aims to greatly improve audio and video handling under Linux. Having gained quite some attention recently in the Automotive Grade Linux community, it is now becoming part of AGL, growing steadily. In this session, George is going to present PipeWire and explain how it provides ground for building complex, yet secure, car multimedia systems, both in the audio and video domains. In addition, he is going to give an update of the current and future work going on around PipeWire, both in AGL and upstream.
