If you’ve ever wanted to get into blockchain development but haven’t found a good place to start, you’re in the right place. Horea Porutiu shows you how to implement a real-world blockchain use case using open source distributed ledger platform Hyperledger Fabric. Horea explores the basic architecture of the Hyperledger Fabric platform by building a simple Node.js blockchain application and analyzing the main components required to run a blockchain network (the peer, the orderer, and the certificate authority). You’ll learn the main Hyperledger Fabric APIs for implementing digital identity and smart contracts and ultimately updating the ledger, interacting with the application, and checking the details of the transactions using the IBM Cloud Blockchain service.
