One of the most significant challenges to NFV deployment is VNF Onboarding. We are hampered by lack of a standardized packaging format and significant integration testing requirements. This session will discuss efforts in ONAP to simplify the problem for both service providers and vendors. This includes VNF packaging and validation tools, and steps towards a standardized validation program. We will also discuss how service providers can use these tools internally as part of their vendor engagement program.
