With rapid increase in internet traffic, uptake in demand for strict per application latency and jitter SLA, network operators are more and more challenged to meet these demands. Automated Peering Optimization introduces a level of insight and control that can benefit both service providers and webscale operators to better address the challenges in managing and optimizing their BGP peering edge. This talk will cover Peering Automation and Optimization uses cases from a technology perspective; starting with a clear definition of the problem space and will then discuss the SDN and automation capabilities that address the peering edge challenges. Real world examples and use cases will be covered.
