ONAP provides a rich framework to design and manage the full lifecycle service in an automatic way. While Dublin release has been just released, there are still some gaps to reach the promise of describing and providing any lifecycle operations.ONAP design-time tool provides a rich set of tools to model services, configure parameters and describe policies or closed-loops.But when designing a service, the VNF descriptor is the emerged part of the modeling and there’s still a lot of manual steps to prepare the full set of needed actions that will be executed during Day1/2 operations.Eric will provide a brief overview of the existing ONAP features allowing to automate the deployment and post configuration of services based on various PoC/trials.Eric will also address the next challenges for the coming releases to ease ONAP adoption and to fully take benefit from this powerful framework.
