“Edge computing” is getting lots of attention these days – with different definitions of what the edge is. This talk approaches enterprise edge computing, and introduces a new open source project within the LF Edge Foundation: Project Eve.The enterprise edge is different from traditional data center environments:- Physical distribution and resulting physical and network security- Service lifetime of 7 or more years- Security requirements for cyber-physical systemsYet system designers want to follow cloud native and devops approaches for deploying apps at the edge.
