The last year, 2018, Kubernetes Network Plumbing Group (NPWG) successfully published the first de-facto standard document for network attachments, with reference CNI plugin, Multus-CNI. It makes us to having two or more interface to the pods/containers in Kubernetes. But it is not the goal, just a start of the journey of advanced container networking. “Which interface is good for secondary network?”, that is the first step. This talk will survey over several CNI interface plugin and CNI IPAM plugin, like ipvlan, macvlan, DHCP and static and will show best practices for several use-cases.
