Service providers need to transform their processes and skills to embrace the network automation frameworks required by the network softwarisation.LFN projects provide a rich set of solutions to automate network automation and to test the full stack (Network infrastructure, VNF, orchestrator…) in a fully automatic manner. These frameworks offer great value for teams in charge of validating VNF and complex end-to-end services. The presentation will depict how Orange has leveraged LFN tools (OPNFV Functest & Xtesting, ONAP VVP & onap-tests) within internal network transformation program to accelerate the adoption of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) Integration best practices. We will also present how we solved some roadblocks to progress in our network automation journey and the next challenges to deploy 5G networks and embrace AI.
