In the future, there are requirements about multiple display , e.g.IVI, Cluster, HUD(Head-up display), Rear-Display, etc in Automotive Cockpit. A system that shares images with multiple ECUs is required for one of the in-vehicle use cases that realize a multi-display system. Since 2016, Renesas developed the function to transfer the display image to another ECU with Denso/ADIT. “mapviewer” image data that is drawn in IVI is transferred to Cluster ECU using H.264 streaming, then this image is shown center of cluster display. This demo system with IVI and cluster was exhibited at CES 2017 and 2018, and posted into AGL. However this system is only applied to R-Car SoC. Then I should develop new plugin that is available for another Automotive SoCs. This presentation will describe remote access plugin to communication inter connect multiple ECUs.
