Service providers try to transition to an Autonomic mode of operations, where one can define an intent; the intent triggers a set of actions, consequently some policies will be inserted or modified to guarantee the overall objective is met. This talk will explore a hierarchy of needs to build an intent-based autonomic networking architecture and explains how that could be achieved by means of a programmable network and service delivery platform along with a closed loop control system to build and disseminate intelligence throughout. The talk will focus on the application of machine learning and data orchestration in building an intent-based networking, and provides recommendations on how to use the intelligence gained from network exploration, learning, analytics, and data orchestration to manage policies in the autonomic network control loop to robustly adopt to new network conditions.
