Identity is a fundamental component of any business-to-business transactional platform. It is a problem the blockchain platforms uniquely resolve. However, for blockchain networks to be able to transact within and between networks they need a common identity mechanism. The Indy project within Hyperledger represents the latest technology for business and individual identities. R3 has partnered with this project to bring their unique identity solution to the Corda platform.
