With the inclusion of Flowspec support in routers came the opportunity to better respond to malicious traffic events. In the case of Oracle + Dyn, we wanted to integrate this functionality into our “chatops” workflows, that is, controlling tools via APIs by interfacing with a chat program (aka Bot). This talk shows how we designed and implemented the API and includes useful examples, as well as experiences.
